PENGERTIAN PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF

 

 

DEFINISI PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF - Istilah pendidikan inklusif atau inklusi, mulai mengemuka sejak tahun 1990, ketika konferensi dunia tentang pendidikan untuk semua, yang diteruskan dengan pernyataan salamanca tentang pendidikan inklusif pada tahun 1994.
Pendidikan inklusif memiliki prinsip dasar bahwa selama memungkinkan, semua anak seyogyanya belajar bersama-sama tanpa memandang kesulitan ataupun perbedaan yang mungkin ada pada mereka.

This paper examines how enhanced adult-youth relationships lead to increased student engagement, youth development, and academic performance. It highlights the particular importance of personalization efforts for at-risk populations and nontraditional students, and explores technical aspects of implementing personalization in schools.

Character education is an umbrella term loosely used to describe the teaching of children in a manner that will help them develop variously as moral, civic, good, mannered, behaved, non-bullying, healthy, critical, successful, traditional, compliant or socially acceptable beings. Concepts that now and in the past have fallen under this term include social and emotional learning, moral reasoning and cognitive development, life skills education, health education, violence prevention, critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and conflict resolution and mediation. Many of these are now considered failed programs i.e., "religious education", "moral education", "values clarification".[1]

Character Education in America’s Public Schools

The need for instruction in ethics and morals in our nation’s schools is acknowledged by virtually everyone. Yet there is a great deal of confusion and disagreement about how to do this, especially in the public schools.

Many educators want to teach morals from a religious perspective, and are frustrated by U.S. Supreme Court decisions that make advancing a particular religious worldview inappropriate in the public schools. The Court has made it clear, however, that religion can be taught, provided it is done in an objective and neutral way, such that the schools are not using their authority to shape and direct the course of students’ religious training. The specific elements of personal religious training, the Court has said, is to be left to parents, extended family, and the various religious and non-governmental institutions that shape people’s lives. Thus many secondary schools offer courses in world religions, comparative religions, the history of religion, religious themes in literature, and the like, but these courses are designed more to expose students to the important role of religion in human life than to train them in moral thinking.

SEGALA bentuk sumber daya yang disediakan oleh alam, merupakan limpahan kenikmatan  yang bagi makhluk hidup di muka bumi, seluruhnya.  Hingga manusia hidup damai bersama-sama dengan alam. Alangkah indah bila kedua “kubu” itu bisa berjalan beriringan, dan hal tersebut bias kita lihat di sebuah sekolah dasar (SD) di Bandung, yaitu SD Alam Pelopor atau biasa di singkat SD Apel.
